CHLOE WINE COLLECTION and Women in Film Team Up with Kate Bosworth to Support Female Filmmakers

Chloe Wine Collection and Women In Film are teaming up with award-winning actress and producer Kate Bosworth to launch She Directed, a campaign recognizing and rewarding female filmmakers who are illuminating the storylines of today's women. She Directed officially kicked off on February 22nd at the 12th Annual Women In Film Oscar® Nominees Party with a toast to talented women both in front of and behind the camera.

As part of the campaign, Chloe Wine Collection and Women In Film are also pleased to introduce the She Directed contest in which female filmmakers are encouraged to submit an original short film or an excerpt of a feature film that puts women at the center of the story. Four runners up will receive professional mentorship, and one grand prize winner will be awarded a mentorship and cash prize. The She Directed campaign and contest is part of Chloe Wine Collection's continuing efforts to celebrate women in the director's chair. At the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, Chloe Wine Collection introduced its first ever, short film, "Projection," toasting to the inspirational impact of female filmmakers. In 2019, Chloe Wine Collection proudly partners with Women In Film, an organization that advocates for and advances the careers of women in the film industry, to further this mission.

Film submissions for the She Directed contest will be accepted from February 20th, through July 7th. On July 8th, entries will be available for viewing online and the public will vote to select ten semi-finalists, while an additional ten semi-finalists will be chosen by a jury panel. The panel of industry professionals, including actress Kate Bosworth, will then select the grand prize-winning film and four runners up.
