Do you want to dine out in New York City this Thanksgiving? Maybe there's no family in town, or too much family. Perhaps you want to relax after the parade and enjoy being served.

Talented chefs throughout the city are preparing gourmet menus. Broadwayworld.com has compiled eight great restaurant choices for Thanksgiving Day. Make your reservations in advance because these spots book up quickly.

STEAKHOUSE 212 (Midtown East)

For Thanksgiving, Steakhouse 212 has a perfect menu for seafood or meat lovers and vegetarians, well priced at $75 per person. Appetizer choices include oysters, classic steak tartare, and foie gras. Then for the soup course, a rich Organic Spinach Soup with Bulgarian feta crostini. Entrée choices include Whole Black Sea Bass, Pumpkin Risotto, and meltingly-tender Kobe Beef.

And since Thanksgiving is all about the sides, they've put together delightful mini trios including some of their most popular items. Finish your meal with a sweet potato tart with red wine caramel, or creme brulee.

DUET BRASSERIE (West Village)

Newly opened Duet Brasserie showcases the talents of Executive Chef Dmitry Rodov and his wife, Executive Pastry Chef Diana Rodov. The Rodovs are well known for their culinary talents and you can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in their stylish new restaurant in the West Village.

The $75 prix fix dinner includes a choice of appetizers including Organic Farmer's Salad or Butternut Squash Soup with Turkey Breast. Entrée choices include Grilled Turkey Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon or Organic Roast Duck. Meals are served with sides of Haricort Verts, Roasted Pumpkin and Cranberry Cous Cous. Sauces that accompany your meal are Turkey Gravy and Cranberry Sauce. Pie choices for dessert include Apple, Pumpkin, Cranberry or Pecan.

KTCHN (Midtown)

KTCHN Restaurant is offering a three-course Thanksgiving Prefix for $40. Starter options include Chipotle Sweet Potato Soup and Apple & Endive Salad. There are also two options for the main course, the Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, which includes all the holiday classics such as turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, brussel sprouts, and apple-sage dressing. The other option is the Farm Fresh Roasted Chicken, which is marinated then oven roasted to perfection, and served with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.

To end the meal on a high note, there is a choice of Pumpkin Cheesecake or Apple Blossom a la Mode, two nontraditional yet delicious desserts your mom definitely won't be making.

DOPO EAST (Upper East Side)

Dopo East, the elegant Italian restaurant on Manhattan's Upper East Side, will be serving a special prix fixe Thanksgiving menu with an Italian twist for $45 during both lunch and dinner. The specials on the menu will also be available a la carte.

Enjoy the menu in their dining room or wine cellar, which boasts a selection of 700 unique labels. You may also dine in our glass-enclosed garden that is temperature controlled for year-round enjoyment.

The offerings will include: Vellutata di patate, porri e porcini is Potato, leeks and porcini mushroom soup served with toasted cheese and garlic bread. The Gnocchi di zucca al burro nocciola, noci tostate e salvia croccante is their Pumpkin gnocchi with brown butter sauce, toasted walnuts and crispy sage. Tacchino al forno is their Roasted turkey with fresh herbs, garlic and rosemary served with gravy, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce And for dessert, their Torta calda di mele e gelato di canella is a warm apple tart, served with cinnamon gelato.

TENDER at The Sanctuary Hotel (Midtown)

For $59 per person, start your delightful Thanksgiving meal with a choice of Sweet Potato Soup, Grandma's Chicken Soup or a classic Caesar's Salad. Select a main course of Roasted Turkey, Filet Mignon, Salmon or Polenta Lasagna.

You can choose three accompaniments per table that include Cranberry Sauce, Yukon Mashed, Corn Bread Stuffing, Homemade Stuffing, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Haricot Vert and Shitake or Grilled Asparagus. Top off your meal with Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie or Capuccino Bread Pudding.

DESI GALLI (Midtown East)

Chef owner PriaVanda Chouhan of Desi Galli serves up Thanksgiving with two Indian style turkey dishes that are not only delicious but also very affordable, under $20.

For turkey lovers everywhere, Desi Galli will be serving the Turkey Biryani that is freshly cooked with basmati rice in a curry sauce and flavored with spices. The Turkey Kathi Roll is filled with a rich turkey korma and is served with bright cranberry mint cilantro chutney. It comes in a gluten- free option as well as a traditional wrap for everyone to enjoy!

Both dishes are great options for those who cannot cook a Thanksgiving dinner or wish to try something new. These specials will be served at the restaurant on Thanksgiving Day and are available for delivery. Along with the Turkey Biryani and the Turkey Kathi Roll, Desi Galli's regular menu will also be served featuring their soulful street Indian food.

CLEMENT (Midtown at 5th Avenue)

Clement has a Thanksgiving buffet presented in their chic urban setting overlooking Fifth Avenue served from noon to 8:00 pm. Chef de Cuisine Brandon Kida's American buffet with more than 60 dish choices based on ingredients sourced throughout the Northeast for $155 and for $75 for those 12 and under.

The raw bar will feature Caviar, Lobster, Crab Claws, Oysters, Shrimp, Gravlax, Tuna Sashimi and Scallop Ceviche. There will be three carving stations with Heritage Turkey with shiitake gravy, Prime Rib and Leg of Lamb plus four more entrée options: Turkey Wings; Whole Salmon with citrus and fennel; Honey Baked Ham; and Whole Roasted Cauliflower Heads. Then there will be the 22 appetizers, salads and sides.

Appetizers will include Risotto with truffles and Baked Oysters with ham. The 12 sides section include Duck Sausage and Sage Stuffing; Root Vegetable Terrine, celery root, carrot, parsnips and quince; Mini Pumpkins, filled with puree, topped with brown sugar and butter; and Chef's Kida's rich, creamy Grits with Cheddar cheese. The menu has plenty to offer for vegetarians and pescatarians.

Pastry Chef Deden Putra's sweet creations will feature cakes, pies and verrines. There will be19 selections in all.

STRAND BISTRO (Midtown)

The Strand Bistro offers three courses $65.00 or you can order items a la carte. There is also a children's menu available so you can bring the whole family after the parade. Renowned Chef, Jason Tillman has created special selections for Thanksgiving day.

Start your meal with a choice of appetizers: Roasted Pumpkin Soup; Duck Confit with wild arugula, celery root, acorn squash and sweet potato dressing. Or enjoy Baby Lettuce Salad with roasted beets, goat cheese, pistachio and balsamic reduction.

Turkey-Turkey is served with candied sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, cranberry, sage stuffing and giblet gravy. You can also choose from Long Island Fluke Almondine, Juniper Braised Venison Osso Bucco or Lobster Ravioli.

Finish your holiday meal with Warm Chocolate Cake, Classic Pumpkin Pie or Apple Strudel Cake with pumpkin gelato and caramel sauce.
