Photos: Westlife's Shane Filan Performs Manila Leg of 2018 Asian Tour Manila, Philippines--Although Westlife band's former frontman Shane Filan only performed four songs, which included "Unbreakable" and "Beautiful In White" from his latest solo album titled "Love Always," at his album tour at Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City earlier today, the tightly packed crowd that huddle around the makeshift stage left happy and satisfied, especially when the charismatic crooner revealed that he'd be back for a full-length concert by year-end.

Evidently busy promoting "Love Always," the Irish singer-songwriter's third album, which is his most successful solo album so far--reaching #3 in Scotland and #5 in Ireland and the United Kingdom--features Filan and his global fanbase's all-time favorite love songs such as The Bangles' "Eternal Flame," originally recorded by an all-female pop rock band, Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love," and Bryan Adams' "Heaven."

Other covers include NYSYNC's "This I Promise You," Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over," Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," Jamie Scott's "Unbreakable," the album's carrier single, and Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me."

Further, original songs, co-written by Filan, also made the cut: "Beautiful in White," which is a huge favorite in Asia, "Completely," "Eyes Don't Lie," and "Crazy Over You."

"It took us about six months to finish this album because you had to pick the right songs and you had to take your time to try different things," Filan told the press at a conference in Manila last February 8. "It was a nice process to go through. It was a lot of thinking, a lot of ideas. Me (myself), my management, record label, producer, the fans, everybody was throwing their ideas around to see what would work. I think we came up with a really satisfying album."

He stressed, though, "For this album, I'm not trying to change the songs or spoil somebody else's memories."

"If you like my voice, you'll also like these songs."

At his album tour in the Philippines, Filan shared the stage with local MCA Music (Universal Music Group) artists Sitti and Sabrina.

If you missed Filan's recent stops in Malaysia and the Philippines, you may still catch him at Ciputra Hall, Surabaya, Indonesia (March 4), Sahid Jaya Convention Hall, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (March 17), and Palembang Sports Convention Centre, Palembang, Indonesia (March 18).

Filan is also set to perform in a full-length concert at The Coliseum, Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore on March 10.
