Macy Gray Will Be Guest Host, DJ at 'Mondays at The House' at The Iridium

Following a successful debut in July, Mondays at The House, presented by John Loeffler, Founder & Executive Director at Fieldhouse Music, and Grace Blake, General Manager at The Iridium, continues on August 28 with special guest host and DJ Macy Gray.

Macy Gray has had an expansive career over the past two decades as a singer, songwriter and actress, with record sales of over 25 million worldwide, as well as multiple Grammy, Billboard, MTV and BRIT awards.

"Our premiere showcase was a hit and the momentum for those performers continues as they all have left for tours across the U.S.," says Loeffler "We are excited now to announce that Macy Gray will be joining us for our next edition. She is a choice host for our series as she is a proponent of new talent and singer/songwriters on the verge."

Mondays at The House is a monthly showcase presenting talent curated by Loeffler and Blake as a means of discovering, nurturing, and promoting the very best unsigned artists in the country today. Industry mixers and meet and greets follow the performances, and aspiring artists in the audience are encouraged to bring samples of their own music to be considered for an upcoming showcase.

The August 28 lineup highlights NYC based artists:

· Vocalist, and 2013 The X Factor contestant, CHRISSI POLAND;

· 18-year-old phenom VICTORIA CANAL;

· Alt-rock band JANUARY JANE;

· And singer/songwriter ALEX NACKMAN.
