Prosperity Management: An Islamic Prospective, a new book by Samir S. Ghazal, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

The formula for prosperity-it's certainly no simple equation, yet in this book Ghazal takes on this topic that is both challenging and intriguing. Drawing on wisdom and inspiration from the Holy Qur'an and the sayings of the Prophet, Ghazal explores the reasons behind laws-of business, of religion and of life in general. Candidly acknowledging that we live in an era of corruption with diminishing standards, he reiterates that the need for changes leading to prosperity is vital. Divided into three parts, including an overall view of leadership in Islam, the nine principles of prosperity, and a case in point from his own time as a human resources manager, Ghazal lays the foundation for finding prosperity. Though certainly no easy task, readers will find that it is indeed possible, with the right mindset and the will to make it happen.

Samir Ghazal has an MBA degree in human resources management and is currently the human resources advisor at Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company Ltd. (SAMREF).

Mr. Ghazal has over twenty-five years of related experience, mainly in the oil and petrochemical industries. He is the author of Indigenous Manpower in the Private Sector of the Arabian Peninsula: A Guide to Effective Achievement and The Merger of the Two Giants, Saudi Aramco and Samarec. He designed a job evaluation system entitled Ghazal 54 and The SAMIR Talent Assessment. He has conducted a number of workshop sessions and many presentations at annual HR conferences and symposiums.

Mr. Ghazal is the founder of Edaratec.com, a consulting firm that provides management solutions to HR issues.

Prosperity Management is a 130-page paperback with a retail price of $16.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-0936-7. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
