The Cherry Artists Collective announces the world premiere of a new international work of live-streamed theater. Felt Sad, Posted a Frog (and other streams of global quarantine) is co-written by six brilliant collaborating writers from around the world, and performed by members of Ithaca, NY's Cherry Artists' Collective. This international streaming project will feature stories from Buenos Aires, Berlin, San Salvador, Bucharest, and New York, and explore with humor and depth how interactions and relationships are playing out on screens in a time of danger. Felt Sad, Posted a Frog will have just five live performances, from May 19.Each of the six award-winning writers of Felt Sad, Posted a Frog contributes a unique global perspective on quarantine and digital life. They are:Iva Brdar (Belgrade, Serbia) writer of Rule of ThumbJorgelina Cerritos (San Salvador, El Salvador) writer of On the Other Side of the SeaRebekka Kricheldorf (Berlin, Germany) writer of Testosterone and Rosa and BlancaSantiago Loza (Buenos Aires, Argentina) writer of The Saint, Winter Animals, and Nothing to do with LoveSaviana Stanescu (Bucharest, Romania/Ithaca, New York) writer of What Happens NextLyrae Van Clief-Stefanon (Ithaca, New York) co-writer, A Cherry Timedive and lyricist, The Snow QueenEach of these amazing writers is creating a new work specifically for now, specifically for the Cherry Artists' Collective.
