With more than 380 shows and events, there's no doubt that the 2014 First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival (Sept. 18-27) will provide participants with a plethora of inspired experiences, but organizers believe that some of them may stick around long after the stage lights have dimmed.

First Niagara, through its wholly owned subsidiary, First Niagara Bank, N.A., is a multi-state community-oriented bank with approximately 410 branches, $39 billion in assets, $27 billion in deposits, and approximately 5,900 employees providing financial services to individuals, families and businesses across New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts. For additional information on First Niagara, visit us at www.firstniagara.com, follow us on Twitter @FirstNiagara, or like us on Facebook at FirstNiagaraBank.

Three new posters reflecting the possibility that "the experience stays with you" include ballerinas in a coffee shop, variety performers having car trouble, and a pool party with a very interesting guest list. All will be printed and sold as commemorative posters during the 2014 Fringe.

"We wanted to express the power of the Fringe experience, so our poster images this year represent memories or dreams of Fringe that come back unexpectedly," explains Fringe Creative Director Kate Sonnick, who headed up last year's Gold Addy Award-winning Fringe commemorative poster team-which also included photographer Will Strawser and Art Director Daniel Jones-as well. "The idea is that art can have a surprising impact on people's everyday lives, and Fringe celebrates art in all of its many forms."

In conjunction with its new presence on Instagram (http://instagram.com/rochester_fringe), Fringe invites fans to share their own #rocfringe14 experiences via Fringe Social, which also includes Twitter (https://twitter.com/RochesterFringe) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/RochesterFringeFestival). Like expect-the-unexpected nature of Fringe itself, Fringe Social has some surprises in store leading up to September 18th's opening.

This just in: since the Fringe Guide's appearance on August 20, there have been updates, one of which is the addition of There's Always Time for a Cocktail at the TheatreROCS Stage at Xerox Auditorium on Friday, September 19 at 10:30 p.m. The show, a comedic yet touching look at Ed Popil's transition into Mrs. Kasha Davis, debuted at the 2012 Fringe. This is a one-night-only staged reading of the show in development, produced by JCC CenterStage for ages 13 and above.

All Fringe tickets are available at rochesterfringe.com, as well as by phone at (585) 371-5010 (additional phone fees apply). Tickets will be available in person at the Spiegeltent Box Office (One Fringe Place, corner of Gibbs & Main Sts.) beginning Sunday, Sept. 14; and at venues (if available) starting one hour prior to performance.

Rochester Fringe Festival is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation that exists as a means to connect venues, performers, artists, educational institutions and the audience. It was pioneered
