Now in its 78th year, the WYO invites talented young musicians to audition for its dynamic 2026 spring semester, promising an inspiring year of music-making and community.

The program draws from over 60 communities and schools, uniting the finest young talent in the region for exceptional performances at Mechanics Hall and venues across Worcester County. Students enjoy weekly rehearsals, expert coachings, and masterful performances under the guidance of talented conductors and teaching artists. It's a place not just to hone your craft, but to make lifelong friends and share unforgettable experiences on stage.

Mid-Season Auditions open to all students grades 12 and under who play a string, wind, brass, percussion, or harp/keyboard instrument.
