Which Side?: A Protest Music Teach-Out is a concert and discussion series that explores the role of protest music in American history, beginning on July 9, 2025, at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA. Inspired by James Sullivan's book, the series features performances from local artists including Jesse Ahern, Jon Butcher, and Joe Gittleman, accompanied by the house band, The Paid Protesters. Each show will include original songs and covers, along with commentary and discussions led by Sullivan. The series continues to highlight the connection between music, advocacy, and social change through community engagement.
