The Hunchback of Notre Dame is based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, showcasing the film's Academy Award-nominated score as well as new songs by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. Peter Parnell's book embraces story theatre and features passages from Hugo's gothic novel. The production features an ensemble of more than 40 performers accompanied by a full orchestra, directed by Doug Hodge with music direction by Ben Oehlkers.
