The Brave Space Youth Theater Project at Academy of Music Theatre

The Brave Space Youth Theater Project is a devised theatre workshop designed specifically for queer-identified youth ages 13-18, held Saturday mornings from October 3 through November 14, 2026, culminating in a performance on November 16. The program is a collaboration between the Academy of Music Theatre and Play Incubation Collective, offering local queer youth the opportunity to amplify their individual and collective voices and share their own stories. Participants will be guided through the creation of an original devised theatre piece by instructor Sarah Marcus. The 7-week workshop is offered at a registration fee of $30, made possible through a generous gift from the Scarlet Sock Foundation.
