Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella at Weston Friendly Society

The Weston Friendly Society, the second oldest theatre group in the United States, is kicking off its 142nd season in December with Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Performances will be held at the Weston Town Hall Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13.

The 2013 Broadway adaptation of the made-for-television musical features an updated libretto, new characters and new songs as well as Rodgers & Hammerstein classics such as "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible/It's Possible" and "Ten Minutes Ago" that were in the 1957 television version that featured Julie Andrews, the 1965 version that starred Lesley Ann Warren and the 1997 version that starred Whitney Houston and Brandy.

Cinderella will be performed at the Weston Town Hall on Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13. There are 7:30 p.m. performances on Dec 5 and 12 and 2 p.m. matinees on Dec 6, 12 and 13.

Tickets are on sale now on the Weston Friendly Society website. Reserved seating at cabaret tables and balcony tickets are available for $28 for adults and $25 for seniors and students.

The performance venue is accessible; patrons can take an elevator to the main performance level.
