By popular demand, Jerry Seinfeld has added a second performance at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Friday, April 10 at 9:30 pm. Tickets go on sale to members on Wednesday, December 11 at 10 am and to the general public on Friday, December 13 at 10 am.
After a hugely successful engagement in 2017, America's premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, returns to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts to perform his signature stand-up routine on Friday, April 10 at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale to members on Wednesday, November 13 and to the general public on Friday, November 15 at 10 am.
The Hanover Theatre is pleased to announce a $250,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation in support of the expansion of the theatre and its Conservatory for the Performing Arts. This work is a key part of the revitalization of downtown Worcester and a catalyst for economic development in the area.
Over 20 new shows go on sale this August at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts, including six new family shows, on sale August 27-30. All handling fees for individual shows are waived 10 am - midnight only on the day they go on sale to the public. Members receive early access to holiday shows on Monday, August 5. Handling fees are not waived for members.
Peppa Pig, George and their friends are back with a brand new show. Peppa Pig Live! Peppa Pig's Adventure visits The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Friday, September 6 at 6pm. Tickets are on sale now to members and to the public on Friday, April 5 at 10am.
The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts is honored to be one of only a handful of New England organizations to receive a Challenge America Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts from a national pool of applicants. The $10,000 grant will support the theatre's Adopt-A-School program. Endowment for the Arts Acting Chairman Mary Anne Carter recently approved more than $27 million in grants as a part of the arts endowment's first major funding announcement for fiscal year 2019. Challenge America grants support projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations of those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited by geography, ethnicity, economics or disability.
