Tom Wopat & Judy Kaye Join Harold Prince For 'Conversation' At Northeastern University October 30
Tom Wopat and Judy Kaye will be featured during "A Conversation With Harold Prince" on October 30. The event will take place at the Center for the Arts at Northeastern University.
Harold Prince, recipient of a record-setting 21 Tony Awards with over 50 musicals, plays and operas to his credit, will recount his years in the theatre as director and producer.
Mr. Prince has impacted American theater like no other, his extraordinary resume includes Company, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Pajama Game, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story and many more.
Selected songs from Mr. Prince's productions will be sung by critically acclaimed and Tony nominated Tom Wopat , who has starred on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago and in David Mamet's Glengarry GLen Ross and Tony award winner Judy Kaye who has appeared on Broadway in Sweeny Todd as Mrs. Lovett, a role that she repeated on the national tour (playing Boston in 2007), and whose other Broadway credits include Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, On the Twentieth Century, Ragtime and Souvenier.
The event will be moderated by Del Lewis, Director of the Center for the Arts.
