NSMT, Baldwin & Denman Among IRNE Award Nominees

The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE), a panel of critics from media outlets around the state of Massachusetts, have announced the nominees for the IRNE Awards honoring the best of the 2007 Theatre Season.  North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) received 17 award nominations honoring performances and creative teams who worked on NSMT's critically acclaimed 2007 Musical Series.

Les Miserables was nominated in 7 categories including Best Musical, Best Director of a Musical (Barry Ivan), Best Music Direction (Anne Shuttlesworth), Best Actor (Fred Inkley), Best Supporting Actress in a Musical (Inga Ballard), Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Ron Wisniski) and Best Sound Design (John Stone).

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers picked up 6 nominations including Best Musical, Best Ensemble, Best Director of a Musical (Scott Schwartz), Best Choreography (Patti Colombo), Best Musical Direction (Ed Goldschneider), and Best Actor in a Musical (Edward Watts).

The Three Musketeers and Crazy For You each earned 2 nominations.   Best Costume Design (Lez Brotherston) and Best Supporting Actress (Kate Baldwin) nominations were announced for the New England premiere of The Three Musketeers and Best Musical and Best Actor (Jeffry Denman) nods were given to Crazy For You.
