Multicultural Arts Center to Present Free 2026 Summer Series in Cambridge

The Multicultural Arts Center (MAC) recently announced its 2026 Summer Series, a vibrant lineup of four free performances that celebrate global artistic traditions through music, dance, storytelling, and interdisciplinary performance. Presented throughout the summer in Centanni Park in East Cambridge, the series continues MAC's longstanding mission of uplifting multicultural voices and expanding access to arts experiences for communities across Greater Boston.

The 2026 Summer Series invites audiences to gather in celebration of artistic expression rooted in cultural heritage, community connection, and creative exploration. Spanning multiple artistic disciplines and traditions, the performances highlight local, national, and International Artists whose work reflects the diversity and vibrancy of the communities MAC serves.

“Summer at the Multicultural Arts Center is about creating joyful, welcoming spaces where artists and audiences can come together across cultures and experiences,” said Najee Brown, Artistic Director of the Multicultural Arts Center. “These free performances reflect the spirit of our mission -- bringing world-class multicultural programming to our community while making the arts accessible to everyone.”

Since its founding in 1978, the Multicultural Arts Center has served as a vital hub for artists and audiences of color, disabled artists, LGBTQ+ creators, immigrant communities, and artists working across diverse identities. More than half of MAC's annual programming is free or donation-based, reinforcing the organization's commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and community-centered arts engagement.

The 2026 Summer Series includes:
