Leslie Kritzer and Catherine Cox will star in a staged reading of MEMORY IS THE MOTHER OF ALL WISDOM (MITMOAW) at Barrington Stage Company. The reading is presented as part of Barrington's Musical Theatre Lab, and will  perform Saturday, September 5 at 4pm, and Sunday, September 6 at 7pm.

Joe Calarco will direct the reading, which features musical direction by Vadim Feichner.

Memory Is The Mother Of All Wisdom featuring book and lyrics by Sara Cooper, music by Zachary Redler. The show is a two-person comic tragedy about the troubled relationship of a woman who has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and her estranged daughter who moves back home to Brighton Beach to take care of her.

"Funny and heartbreaking. Moving in many unimaginable ways. This is a story of a mother and daughter trying gamely to hold on to what they remember of each other. It's amazing how painful hilarious can be." - Bill Finn, Curator, BSC Musical Theatre Lab

MITMOAW was developed at the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

BSC Stage 2 is located at 36 Linden Street in Downtown Pittsfield.

$15 suggested donation. Reservations accepted.
