SUMMARY:

This musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s hit play The Matchmaker bursts with humor, romance, energetic dance and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history. The romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things,” are certain to thrill and entertain audiences again and again.

HISTORY:

Hello, Dolly! premiered on Broadway on January 16, 1964 at the St. James Theatre. Opening with Carol Channing in the title role, the show ultimately played for 2,844 performances, making it – at the time – the longest-running Broadway musical in history. The West End production ran for 794 performances at London’s Drury Lane Theatre. The musical has been revived several times on Broadway, most recently in 2017, starring Bette Midler as Dolly Levi.

Krista Kubicek is "overjoyed and overwhelmed" to bring the vibrant, joy-cultivating Dolly Levi to life. She’s deeply honored and grateful for the incredible gift of doing so on this stage, with this amazing team. Audiences may recall her as Irene Malloy in two prior Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre productions of Hello, Dolly! with the inimitable Ellen Travolta. Other treasured roles include Fantine in Les Misérables, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Velma in Hairspray, Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins, and Mrs. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. Krista considers her most cherished role to be “Mom” to her extraordinary daughters, Paige and Mia. She extends heartfelt gratitude and love to her husband, family, and dearest friends for their steadfast support.

Ben Williams is excited to be making his Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre debut! He is a San Diego based performer, director, and teacher of musical theatre. As an actor he has performed at theaters and amusement parks such as The Old Globe, The Lawrence Welk Resort, and Legoland. Notable roles include Motel (Fiddler on the Roof), Professor Bhaer (Little Women), Bob Cratchit (A Christmas Carol), Freddy (My Fair Lady), Sky (Mamma Mia), and Fred (Miracle on 34th Street). Ben is a co-founder/artistic director of Lighthouse Players - a performing arts organization in San Diego, where he keeps busy producing, directing, and bringing arts education to public and charter schools.

Adrian Graff is a Sophomore BFA Acting student at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, better known as CCM. He is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Some of his previous credits include: At CCM: Mischa in Ride the Cyclone, Clown in Winter's Tale, Trick in Love and War; Butch in Welcome to Dangerville with Pickleville Playhouse (Garden City, Utah), Oscar Delancey/Ensemble in Disney’s Newsies with Pickleville Playhouse, Stanley/Ensemble in Hello Dolly with The Carnegie (Covington,Kentucky), Kurt Kelly in Heathers with Sunrise Civic Theatre (Sunrise, Florida) He is so hyped for this production!!

Nicole Rose Ostlie is thrilled to be making her Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre debut this summer! Born and raised in Spokane, Nicole now attends Marymount Manhattan College in New York City earning her BFA in Musical Theatre and BA in Business and Fashion. Favorite past roles include Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz, Sillabub in Cats (both with Spokane Civic Theater), and Ariel in Footloose (Kubiak Theater). Enslee Olivia Cook

Enslee Olivia Cook is thrilled to make her debut with Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre this season! She recently graduated Ferris High School, where some of her favorite roles included Nikki Crandall (The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940), Snoopy (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Elinor Dashwood (Sense and Sensibility), and The Ghost of Christmas Present (A Christmas Carol). She loves baking, reading, and collecting vintage records she can swing dance to! Most of all, she loves performing, which is why she is so grateful to have this opportunity to do so!

Abe McKinney is so excited to be a part of his second Coeur d’Alene Summer Theater production! Abe has been participating in local theater for the past six years. Some of his previous credits include, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Spokane Civic Theater), Ren in Footloose (CCT Spokane), Beast in Beauty and the Beast (CYT North Idaho), and Tulsa in Gypsy (Aspire Theater). Abe would like to thank his friends, family, singing instructor, and God for supporting and encouraging him through his theatrical journey.


Chelsea DuVall

Chelsea DuVall is excited for her first appearance onstage with CST! She previously worked as the Production Manager and offered support in casting & accent coaching. Chelsea is an Assistant Professor of Acting at Utah State University and works in Washington State as a performer, director & instructor/coach. She received her MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts and has worked with companies such as Source Material Collective, Arizona Opera, Center for New Performance, Austin Shakespeare, and the Organic Theatre Company. In addition to her work with Coeur D’Alene Summer Theatre, she is directing a female inclusive production of Julius Caesar at Stage Left Theater in September. She is incredibly thankful to the CST team, her voice teacher Jenny, & her beloveds.


Lorna Hamilton

Lorna Hamilton has performed, choreographed, directed more than 200 shows and is a veteran of Coeur d'Alene Summer Theater Returning to “Hello Dolly!” Is another exciting romp with Roger and Stephen! Anden J. Leo is a Seattle-based performer who is overjoyed to be in one of his absolute favorite shows! Past roles at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre: Ali Hakim (Oklahoma!), Monsieur D'Arque (Beauty & the Beast), Victor/Adrian (Smokey Joe's Cafe). Other favorite roles include: Bobby Strong (Urinetown) and Mr. Darcy (Pride & Prejudice) with Bainbridge Performing Arts, Gomez Addams (The Addams Family) with Aspire Community Theatre, and Christopher Wren (The Mousetrap) with Valley Centerstage Theatre. Griffin Adams

Griffin Adams is thrilled to be making his professional debut with Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre this summer! Originally from New Jersey, he is so excited to be experiencing Idaho for the first time. He just completed his sophomore year at NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the New Studio on Broadway studying Musical Theater. This spring, he was seen on stage as Beadle Bamford in Tisch Drama Stage’s production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Orlando in the New Studio on Broadway’s production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It. He’d like to thank his family and friends for their constant support, encouragement, and love.

Christian Bolduc Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre debut! Christian was last onstage as Danny Zuko in Grease in Western Washington (Tacoma Musical Playhouse), and recently won 2025 Outstanding Actor awards for TMP’s I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change in WA and the PNW region. Recent professional work: Dracula (Tacoma Arts Live), Cabaret, Hedwig and the Angry Inch (awarded NWTheatre Show of the Year), and Fun Home (Harlequin Productions). Other Washington State faves: Charley in Merrily We Roll Along (SecondStory Repertory), Orin in Little Shop of Horrors (Auburn Community Players), and George in Sunday in the Park with George (SPSCC). Catherine Dietschak is ecstatic to be making her Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre debut in Hello Dolly!!! Catherine is a rising sophomore at Ball State University and is currently working toward her BFA in Acting. Previous roles include “Roxie Hart” (Chicago), “Elle Woods” (Legally Blonde), and “Emily” (Our Town). After the show, Catherine will spend the rest of her summer as a camp counselor for “Camp Broadway.” When Catherine is not performing, she teaches voice and acting lessons locally and online to children all over the U.S. She would like to thank her mom and dad for their unfailing love and support in her career, and her boyfriend, John, for being her best friend. Sebastian L. Fenton is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a BFA in musical theatre. His recent credits include Victor in Cabaret, Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mr. Cladwell in Urinetown, Sergei in Matilda, and Sgt. Fogarty in Chicago. Besides performing, he enjoys choreography, cooking, fashion, and listening to classic Brit-rock! Michael Hamill is ecstatic to be returning to Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre for the whole summer season. Michael is a recent graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Last summer, Michael was seen in Fiddler on the Roof and The Secret Garden at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre. Bella Hanna As a 16-year-old sophomore, Bella is thrilled to be joining the cast of Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre for the first time! Previously, she has been a part of six of Christian Youth Theater's productions most recently playing the part of Cinderella.


Coral Horton

Coral Horton is delighted to be making her debut with Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre. Recent credits include Anastasia with Tacoma Musical Playhouse, and Fairy Doll with Premiere Division Studio Company. She has twenty one years of dance experience, and professionally danced ballet in New York, NY until 2020. She is a ballet teacher for children at Tutu School, Tacoma. A fun fact she wanted to share, she speaks French and Italian fluently!


Ruby Astaire Krajic

Ruby Astaire Krajic is very excited to be back on stage with Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre this season. Ruby is a Junior at Coeur d'Alene High School and has been very active since a young age in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene community theatre scene. Most recently Ruby was seen in The Addams Family as Wednesday, in Cats as Rumpleteazer, and the Wolves as Player #2, all at Spokane Civic Theatre. She was last on stage with Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre when she was 10 years old as Chip in Beauty and the Beast and the ensemble of Oklahoma. Ruby hopes to pursue a career in musical theatre after graduation and would like to thank all her instructors and mentors who are helping her achieve her dreams.


Andre Lajevardi

Andre Lajevardi is a rising fourth-year BFA Musical Theatre major at Penn State, originally from the Bay Area. At Penn State, he played Tobias in Sweeney Todd and appeared in How to Succeed..., Urinetown, and Great Comet. Last summer, he performed in Newsies (Race) and Chicago (Bailiff/Clerk) at Interlakes Summer Theatre. Andre is so excited to be spending his summer singing and dancing at Coeur d’Alene! Andre is also a big fan of weightlifting, volleyball, matcha, and EDM—ask him for song recs! Tom Richards

Tom Richards grew up seeing Coeur d'Alene Summer Theater productions through the late 70's and early 80's with his family. He has been a musician, singing and playing piano and guitar, since he was old enough to remember. He has sung in numerous choirs from the Coeur d'Alene HIgh School Jazz Choir to the Stanford Mendicants in college and the Camarata Singers in Seoul, South Korea. He is currently the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Dr. Phil & the Enablers, a blues band, On The Walk, a jazz and swing band, and Bucket List, an acoustic trio. Stage roles include Paul in Company, the Bishop in Robin Hood, various roles in Traditions of Christmas and Need a Little Christmas in Coeur d'Alene and The Rabbi in last summer's Coeur d'Alene Summer Theater production of Fiddler on the Roof.


Reilly Schoening

Reilly Schoening is thrilled to be back for her third season with Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre! She has performed in Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre's productions of Mamma Mia!, Sound of Music, and Pride and Prejudice: The Musical. Reilly has always had a passion for performing. Some of her favorite roles include Sandy (Grease), Cinderella (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella), Liesl von Trapp (Sound of Music), Irene Molloy (Hello, Dolly!) and Miss Dorothy (Thoroughly Modern Millie). Reilly enjoys being a dancer/choreographer, crafting, anything Disney-related, and spending time with friends and family!


Megan Ruth Smith

Megan Ruth Smith A Pacific Northwest director, choreographer, performer and teaching artist and a graduate of Central Washington University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Cum Laude, Megan has worked across the northwest and beyond! Credits include an international tour of The Magic Flute (Italy/Bulgaria), teaching tap at Seattle’s Cornish College of the Arts, holding the resident choreographer/dance instructor position in Central Washington University's BFA Musical Theatre program (Go Wildcats!), working in entertainment at Walt Disney World and more. Chloe Sundet is delighted to be making her Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre debut! Favorite roles include Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance) at Pacific Opera Project, Liesl (The Sound of Music) at Leavenworth Summer Theatre, and Rapunzel (Into the Woods) at Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. As a crossover artist, she appeared as a soloist with the Frieze Art Fair of Los Angeles, Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra, Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene, American Contemporary Ballet, and Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra. Adele Trapp

Adele Trapp is so excited to be performing at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre for the first time. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's of Music in Musical Theatre at University of Colorado Boulder. She is originally from El Dorado Hills, CA and has appeared professionally with Sacramento Theatre Company. Last summer she carried out a backstage wardrobe internship as a dresser with Broadway Sacramento at Music Circus. Some of her favorite past roles include Sweeny Todd (Johanna), Urinetown (Hope Cladwell), Titanic the Musical (Kate Murphey) and Les Miserables (Cosette). She is thrilled to be a part of this incredible season and gives big thanks to her Family, Friends, and Mentors!


Asa Wadden

Asa Wadden is thrilled to make his debut at Coeur d"Alene Summer Theater with Hello Dolly! and his first professional show. He got his start in theater at Lewis and Clark High School and has recently appeared as Man In Chair in the Drowsy Chaperone and ensemble in Hadestown. When not acting, he loves playing piano and guitar and writing music. He would like to thank his sister for inspiring him to start theater and his parents for the constant support.

Eli Wissing is so excited to work on Hello Dolly with this incredible group. You may have previously seen him in Fiddler on the Roof last season or around the community. Abraham T. Zakariasen

Abraham T. Zakariasen Abe is a young musical theatre enthusiast based out of Moscow, Idaho. After falling in love with the stage at 15, he has pursued performing with a passion and always hopes to connect with people through music and meaningful storytelling. Notable credits include The Music Man (TCT), Tale Of Two Cities (APOD Productions), Footloose (Starlight Mt. Theatre), The Secret Garden (APOD Productions), Newsies (Starlight Mt. Theatre), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Starlight Mt. Roger Welch

Director
Roger Welch served as the Producing Artistic Director for the Award Winning Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre for 20 years directing, choreographing and producing over 100 Broadway Musicals: Mr. Welch has received the prestigious Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts as well as The Mayor's Award for Artistic Achievement. Roger is a proud member of The Screen Actors Guild. Mr. Welch has choreographed, directed, or performed for The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Stumptown Stages in Portland,Oregon, Seattle’s Village Theatre, Spokane's Interplayers, The Seattle Opera, Oregon Children's Theatre and Missoula Children's Theatre to name a few.


Steven Dahlke

Music Director
Steven Dahlke received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from University of Southern California. He was a voice faculty member at Lewis and Clark College and Linfield University, Orange County School of the Arts and Fullerton College in Southern California and is currently Professor at Queensborough Community College--City University of New York, publishing regularly on empathy-based kinesthetic education. Steven has sung with Oregon Symphony Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, Pops, Seattle Symphony Pops, Portland Youth Philharmonic, Portland Baroque Orchestra, and the Aspen Music Festival, and has acted in the Pacific and Inland Northwest. He has been a regular musical theatre conductor on the West Coast and in the New York area, and music directed at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre from 1997-2013.

Michael Greenspan-Wasileski Director for Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre includes Cats, A Chorus Line, Footloose. Choreography credits include Paint Your Wagon, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Chicago, Pippin, Oklahoma!, Guys and Dolls, Kiss Me Kate, Beauty and the Beast, Joseph/Dreamcoat, Miss Saigon , and 3 Hello Dolly! She has been designing and building impactful costumes for over 45 years. Creating pieces to help bring characters to life is very fulfilling. She loves a challenge. Some of the projects she is most proud of: "Once on this Island", "Bring It On", "Be More Chill", "Sunday In the Park With George", "Gypsy", and most recently, "Secret Garden" and "Little Shop of Horrors". Many thanks for God's blessings, her husband John, and amazing family and friends.


Gregory Heathcock

Scenic Design
Gregory Heathcock is thrilled to be working on Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre’s production of Hello Dolly. Gregory is at the University of Idaho completing his MFA in Production Design. Gregory was born in Alabama and has spent most of his time in the southeast. Gregory graduated from Jacksonville State University with a double BA in Technical Theatre and Biology. Some of his previous shows include The Glass Menagerie, The Great Gatsby, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Phantom of the Opera. Gregory wants to thank you all for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!


Ryan Dill

Sound Design
Ryan Dill is thrilled to join Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre for his inaugural season. Educated at Purdue University, Dill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and the Audio Engineering Society certification from the Recording Workshop of Ohio. Ryan rides the sound waves across this beautiful country providing an array of emotions at the Smoky Mountain Opry, equalizing frequencies at the Grand Majestic Theatre, elevating levels at Dollywood, and gaining rhythm with American Queen Voyages. Mr. Dill always comes back to Tennessee for the love of his life, his nine-year-old little lady, Ada. Ryan hopes you enjoy the show.


Alana Shepherd

Lighting Design
Alana Shepherd is an award-winning lighting designer and the founding principal of Intangible Light, an architectural and theatrical lighting design firm located in Spokane, Washington. She also just ended her tenure as Interim Managing/Artistic Director at Stage Left Theater. Before returning to Spokane and to theatre in 2020, she was a part of the New York City architectural lighting world for 15 years. She has a BA in Theatre from Eastern Washington University, and an MFA in Lighting Design from Carnegie Mellon University. Notable architectural projects include: Harriet Tubman Monument, Newark, NJ; Times Square Ball (ALD/programmer – IESNY Lumen Citation), NYC; W Hotel Times Square (IES Award of Merit), NYC; Thompson Hotel Miami Beach (IES Award of Merit). Recent stage productions include Ride the Cyclone, Minister of Sorrow, Macbeth, Pippin, and Fun Home (Stage Left Theater); Fiddler on the Roof, The Secret Garden, and Little Shop of Horrors (Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre); and Amélie (University of Idaho). Her designs for Stage Left’s productions of Pass Over and Sweeney Todd earned regional and national awards from AACT.


Carrie York

Props Design
Carrie York enjoys working both backstage and onstage - whether she’s creating props, playing a Gypsy in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Aspire Community Theatre), running a spotlight, singing in a Chorus for over six seasons, or even playing Miranda in The Tempest (San Juan College), she is always excited and thankful to be a part of the Theatre community! In 25 years of fun, his work spans from Las Vegas’ Strip to New York’s 42nd Street, from Timberlake Productions to the Gershwin Entertainment Corporation. And for the last decade, sailing up America’s Riverways. After nearly 200 productions, Mr. Chapman is honored to join Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre’s talented family of artists. Mike honors his parents, Jim and Kathy, who cheered the successes, encouraged to try again, and stifled laughter when it was well-deserved. Chapman thanks you for joining us at the theatre, where our childhood wonder takes over. While in your seat, he invites you to lean forward and engage. Welcome to the magic!

Nick Thorpe

Music/Audio Supervisor
Nick Thorpe has been active as a musician, composer, arranger, and producer for the past 40 years. Nick holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in music from Indiana University. Nick composed and produced original scores for Lance Burton, Radio City Music Hall, Friedrichstadt Palast in Berlin, and Hilton Conrad-Jupitor's show Innervre, and served as musical director for the National Association of Homebuilders, Ice Capades, MGM on Ice, and Warner Brothers on Ice. Nick has also orchestrated for the Disney animation series The Emperor's New School and Phineas and Ferb, and movies Leroy and Stitch and Phineas and Ferb-Across the 2nd Dimension. Mr. Thorpe currently serves as musical director for Carnival Cruise Lines Playlist Productions.


Robin Hill

Deputy Stage Manager
Robin Hill A recent graduate of Spokane Falls Community College, Robin is currently studying Theatre Design and Production at Central Washington University. Robin’s delighted to be joining Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre for the season! Recent credits: Assistant Stage Manager for Charlotte’s Web (Spartan Theatre), Heathers: The Musical (Spokane Civic Theatre), John Proctor is the Villain (Central Theatre Ensemble) and Once Upon a Mattress (Central Theatre Ensemble). Along with Ophelia in Hamlet with Spokane Shakespeare Society, Aunt Barbara in Crumble or Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake with Spartan Theatre, and Fern/Goose in Charlotte’s Web with Spartan Theatre. Robin says a massive thank you to all of their professors, mentors, family, and theatre-making friends for all their support, wisdom, and encouragement!
