Pride & Prejudice, A New Musical at Schuler Performing Arts Center

A LIVE MUSICAL PRODUCTION OF PRIDE & PREJUDICE THAT'S TRUE TO THE STORY, FILLED WITH FUN CONTEMPORARY MUSIC, AND GIVES US A HUMOROUS INSIGHT INTO THE MINDS OF DARCY & LIZZIE

DIRECTED BY BROADWAY'S Antoinette DiPietropolo (Director/Choreographer) 

Starring Melody Munitz (NYC) and Jonah Taylor (Spokane), Pride & Prejudice, A New Musical is based on the classic novel by Jane Austen. It follows the turbulent relationship between Elizabeth Bennet, the daughter of a country gentleman, and Fitzwilliam Darcy, a rich aristocratic landowner. They must overcome the titular sins of pride and prejudice in order to fall in love and marry.

Pride & Prejudice, A New Musical was adapted by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon (Broadway's Jane Eyre) and is being directed & choreographed by Drama Desk nominee Antoinette DiPietropolo. CDA Summer Theatre is the 2nd theatre in the world to produce this enchanting adaptation.

The musical is fun, lively, and fully engaging. Pride & Prejudice aficionados will love this adaptation and anyone believing that a 'period show' is boring, will be proven wrong.
