I knew Stern would make this happen, he never fails on a promise, particularly to a formner-enemy-cum-friend like Ro.
And I never thought I'd see the day Howard Stern would be the lead in to Rosie O'Donnell (or Rosie O'Donnell be the lead-out for Howard Stern) but here we are. And I couldn't be happier for it as they both represent an important part of the discussion of what free speech in this country means and can do to enact change, conversation (and some controversy).

P.S. I wouldn't be suprised to see him show up as her first guest. As a 15 year fan of the show, I can tell you his recent interview with her (particularly after their decade long feud) shows just how far they both have come and what fascinating personalities they both can be.
I was thinking about make the leap into satellite radio, but I was considering XM for the Theatre Wing's wonderful Downstage Center program. Does Sirius have something comparable?

Huh. I vaguely remember hearing something about that. ATW still advertises the show as being on XM Radio, so I'm wondering if that is old info or if you can still only get exclusive reception of one or the other. My knowledge of satellite radio is about as vast as my knowledge of auto maintenance.

I now have too many reasons to subscribe to XM...!!!!! These radio shows air online for free, right??
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

The Broadway station on XM is the same as the one on Sirius. I haven't heard Downstage Center since the merger. I really enjoyed that show and have listened for it as well.
