I plan on rushing on Friday..I plan on getting into Penn Station around 7: 50..By the time I get to the theater it will prob be around 8- 8: 05..Will I still have a chance at getting rush tickets?
You might have a chance, but plan on sitting in the boxes. You might want to stick around until the box office opens and check for standing room and $36.50 mezz tickets (which are actually a great view).
If you don't mind spending the extra 11 bucks, go with the last row mezzanine seats. They really have a FANTASTIC view and don't detract at all from the intimate feeling that the show has.
I have the same problem as you. My train would get into Penn around the same time but I'm debating if I should take the chance. I'm trying to figure out the best day to rush. I'm thinking of either a Monday or Thursday. Good luck on Friday!
I went this morning and at 7:20AM I was the 14th person in line. I got box seats, and I was almost the last, if not the last person to get tickets. I had no idea it would be THAT crazy!
Sorry, I haven't been following NEXT TO NORMAL rush threads. So basically if you don't show up before 8am, you won't get tickets? That's crazy, good for them, but yeah it means I'm not getting rush tickets.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
If you wanted to be cautious, I'd guess no. Again, last Friday I got the last ones getting there at 8, and it seems it's gotten more tough since then from what I've heard.
I have regents this week FML...and camp soon ..so i only have like friday to go and see it again...my train gets in at 6: 58..so hopefully it take around 10-15 min to walk to the theater...or shud we take a taxi?...which do u think is faster at & in the morning?
It's so close you will probably get there just as fast walking. Best of luck Steven.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
