My son wants to get rush tickets for N2N on Sunday - I have no experience with Rush - perhaps someone can tell me what time he needs to get to the theatre for the 3pm matinee. How busy has rush been for this show now that the reviews have come in. We have already seen it once and he needs to go back! Thank you

Early. I'd say no later than 8 or so based on what I've seen and heard from people who've done weekend lines.

I rushed the show this past Sunday.

The box office opens at 12. I got there at 10am and there were already 15 or so people in line. We still got tickets just fine, though ended up in the box instead of front row. Still a great view, however.

I wouldn't get there any later than 10. Earlier if you want front row.

I got student rush and sat in the box for N2N and it was still a perfect view! Either way you'll enjoy the show.

mywonderwall ~ It's general rush. Not student-exclusive.

On a completely unrelated note, Jordangirl, I LOVE your avatar.

Yes, you'll enjoy the show unless mywonderwa11 has impersonated you via e-mail to sabotage the role you had been cast in. Then you'll probably be focused on other things.

Thanks Robert Taylor. :) I screencapped the commercial. Hee!

I'd also be interested in the details on the other story!

What time would I have to queue up from during the week, like for a Wednesday or Thursday?

I rushed two Thursdays ago and the line looked to be full by 8:45 or 9. (Though I understand they did sell some non-traditional rush seats on the sides for those further back.)

I rushed the day before opening, and there did not appear to be enough to take all the seats at the time the box office opened.

I'm not sure how weekdays have been since the reviews came out, but I'd say 8 or 8:30 at the latest to be safe. As colleges begin to get out, that time might move forward a bit.

Mywonderwa11 was angry with his boyfriend of one year (whom he claimed to love) for telling someone that he felt his relationship was falling apart (which it was). The boyfriend had auditioned for a summer job and felt very positively about it. When he e-mailed them to ask when they would be notifying, they said well we were going to cast you until you e-mailed us and said you couldn't work this summer because of summer school. Come to find out, mywonderwa11 created a fake e-mail address that looked like his boyfriend's name, e-mailed the theatre and said he couldn't work over the summer, which was not true.

Pretty crazy, eh? As his boyfriend is a good friend of mine, it's my pleasure to make sure as many people as possible know of the horrible thing mywonderwa11 did.
