It's not whether she is the best "they" could do, given that she herself is producing the film, the whole reason there is gonna be a film is because she decided to finance it and play the role.
I used to love Nicole Kidman, somehow after she won the Oscar she decided to star in the worst movies she could possibly make. I trust that somewhere behind all the plastic surgery, the wonderful actress she can be remains.

I used to find her a pretty good actress (ie: To Die For, My Life, a couple others) but lately I can't watch anything with her in it without thinking 'that's Nicole Kidman phoning in the same boring performance.'

The article says he's "in negotations" to star.
Remember when Eden Espinosa was "in negotiations" to star in Hair?
