Maybe they can get some animatronic doodads to get her face muscles moving again.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
It's not whether she is the best "they" could do, given that she herself is producing the film, the whole reason there is gonna be a film is because she decided to finance it and play the role. I used to love Nicole Kidman, somehow after she won the Oscar she decided to star in the worst movies she could possibly make. I trust that somewhere behind all the plastic surgery, the wonderful actress she can be remains.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Totally excited about the film...not loving the casting of Kidman. I can think of 100 other more organic actresses who should have the part....Toni Collette, anyone?
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal
"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
I completely agree, Borstalboy. Her face hasn't moved in years. It's distracting! I used to find her a pretty good actress (ie: To Die For, My Life, a couple others) but lately I can't watch anything with her in it without thinking 'that's Nicole Kidman phoning in the same boring performance.'
"You've gotta have a swine to show you where the truffles are."
Everyone has his or her own opinion about Kidman, but what about Eckhart? Does anyone have an opinion about that casting? He's the reason I made this thread.
