"They were taking pictures at the Sunday evening performance"
Yes they were and the cameras were right behind my head! The constant clicking a whirring was driving me nuts! They had the cameras muffled but I could still here them.

Has anyone sat orchestra row b on the far left( or close to there)? Just curious as to how good/bad those seats are.

I want to get rear mezz seats for a Sunday matinee in April...and telecharge keeps saying there are none..

Do you think I would have better luck getting some at the BO?

If they are not on telecharge, that may mean there are none left for that date. I know they are selling out quickly.

Okay thanks....I was just wondering if it was like ticketmaster and released seats in an out of order/random way.

Just got back--- add me to the list of "lovers" !!!!

Have not had that much fun in a theatre in a long time !!!

The entire cast is amazing- Swenson simply commands the stage.

Highlight for me was Caissie Levy's "Easy To Be Hard"

And without a doubt (without spoiling anything) the best show ending I have ever witnessed.

GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^Welcome to the club!

Possible spoiler.....

I agree about the ending.

I remember laughing so hard throughout the show and then being teary eyed the last couple of minutes of the show.

i was the same way sgv. especially the second time i saw it. **possible spoiler**i had an aisle seat and when berger and sheila walked passed me at the end and both of their voices cracking and trying to sing "let the sunshine", that hit me hard.

The ending devestates me every single time. I can never understand the people who clap and sing along to Let the Sun Shine In with a smile on their faces. Well, I mean, I can understand that they're still in the mentality that it's a fun and happy song, but aren't they watching what's happening?! Sorry, it's always been a peeve of mine...

I understand what you are saying. It doesn't bother me that much, I guess let people think of it what they want. I know what the song really represents and means to me and I guess that is all that matters.

Yeah, my heart quite literally sank during Let The Sun Shine re: Let The Sun Shine In! The official HAIR love thread... SO sad. At first I was kind of confused as to what exactly was going on, but then by the ending of the song it was just terrible. And I think the irony of the song being such a happy, joyous kind of song just makes it all the more emotional and bittersweet.

It took me a few minutes once they came out again for the curtain call to shake off the sadness. But of course the curtain call was such a big dance party, it was hard not to ultimately leave the theater feeling happy :P

But the ending is still definitely very haunting.

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Just got back home from seeing it.

WOW.

I saw it over the summer in the park and it only got better. It was one of the best shows I have seen in a LONG time.

And just in case anyone was wondering...I heard they had a photo call tonight after the show.

I seriously think that the main reason the show is better then it was in the park is Gavin Greel. He connects well with Swenson and he adds depth to the character of Claude which I found lacking in Groff and Hanke (even though I liked Hanke in the role).
When the love between Berger and Claude works, the show shines!

I jusr snagged a front row seat. Cannot wait. WITH a discount code! Love when all the stars align for joy to happen!

I was a big fan of this in the park WITH Groff...I felt he did have a great connection; but I am a big Creel fan as well so I am truly excited.

I am so happy to hear how many of you feel the show is even better now as I was sincerely concerned that part of the "magic" was coming from the setting OF the park. Glad to hear that's not so!

Going Sat Matinee, 4.18. Left orchestra. Don't remember seat number...but I know I'm not on the aisle. I don't know if I lucked out since I was only looking for a single ticket but I'm happy as hell.

POSSIBLE SPOILER.

In my opinion, I looked at the ending in a way that it showed why hippies stand for peace and why they stand for what they stand for.

YES...would DEF like to hear about it. And I just checked my confirmation: THAT'S the same seat! (Leave me a note underneath! teehee!) Thanks for thinking of me!

A little bizarre. The only thing I'm really worried about is the angle from the seats to most of the action....if its very severe, my neck will cramp. (I know that makes me sound like a huge baby, but I can't help it!)
