I remember being in the area around 3 weeks ago. Unless there was some magic trick being done it is far from being over. Besides, I am not sure if I believe this regardless of the paper it is printed in. Didn't some paper say that this was going to be done a year or so ago?

I'm totally psyched about this. I think it's going to be awesome -- a whole new icon for New York!
But in all fairness, I think TKTS owes everybody a free ticket to a Broadway show for making us wait so long. I mean, how many months -- years? -- did they hold up that prime real estate smack dab in the center of Times Square?!

p.s. -- BTW, did anyone notice that the new TKTS booth, all done up in futuristic weeds and cracks, actually made its first appearance in I AM LEGEND? . . . lol . . . That sh*t made me laugh out loud.
I don't think the delay was the fault of TKTS or the Theatre Development Fund. I think the new Duffy Square project was managed by the Times Square Alliance.
