These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
As i've said before- stupid little kids who know nothing about the theatre! Ban all under 18s cos they know nothing!

I'm sure if this was any other show, people would be nagging the original poster to change the title of the thread, regardless of any headlines. But, whatever.
WickedBoy: That comment was uncalled for. I've met a lot of intelligent, dedicated theatre people who were under 18. And I bet they can all spell "because" and capitalize their "I'm" - things that should've been mastered by first or second grade.
"We like to snark around here. Sometimes we actually talk about theater...but we try not to let that get in our way." - dramamama611
Again, it is a JOKE!!! No need to get your panties in a twist!!
"He found something that he wanted, had always wanted and always would want— not to be admired, as he had feared; not to be loved, as he had made himself believe; but to be necessary to people, to be indispensable."

Ok the world's most pyscho phantom fan is here.....and yeah haha this thread was funny. If Phantom was really closing, you would have seen the HUGE news headlines blaring it on the BWW main page before you clicked over to the message boards, duhhhh. And anyway I read playbill.com first before this site so I knew all about the 4 day va-cay. So who wants to go see the final show with the old sound and the first show with the new sound? And for all you phantom-haters out there, all I gotta say is, to quote that maino song "you see me! hi haters! hi haters!" haha
