Cabaret.

Bert in Mary Poppins, but why wouldn't I be able to do it.

One that I wouldn't be able, though, would be Lenora in Cry-Baby, hahahaha.

I would kill to play Prior in AiA.

I chose, and my world was shaken. So what? The choice may have been mistaken. The choosing was not.

'Floyd Collins'. It's not really marketable enough for there to be any professional productions, it's WAY too male-dominated for there to be any amateur productions, and if I do ever find myself in a place where someone's putting it on ANYway, I suspect competition will be FIERCE for the two female roles, so fierce that my inability to get the lowest notes in 'Through The Mountain' with any conviction will definitely count against me. re: What show would you love to do, but will never be able to?

Am still holding out hope, but doubt it'll ever happen.

I like to think, never say never, weird chances come along and so does unconventional casting. I'm a twenty something young woman and would love to play Sweeney someday, it might happen.

The odds are against me, but I sincerely want to play Dolly Gallagher Levi. I won't be the first man to take on the role. Danny La Rue played it successfully in London a while back.

Unconventional casting is all well and dandy; I one day hope to play Judge Turpin and Henry V, among other roles (some gender-swap will be necessary, but if Fiona Shaw can play Richard II, I can play Henry V!), but I'm considering what *shows* it's horrifically unlikely I'll ever get the opportunity to be in, not what *parts* I'd like to play. I also doubt they'll ever let me in 'Rent' *goes crying to the SID support group* but I'm less fussed about that. ^_^

I want to be in Spring Awakening as ANY part, but theres no place in it for a Soprano. I also want to be Ivy in Bare, same problem.
I also want to be Kate Monster in Ave. Q, but I have no puppeteering experience and don't really plan on getting any...

I want to play Walter in A Raisin in the Sun. Unfortunately, I'm as white as Ashy Larry.

Billy Elliot.

I suppose in twenty or so years I could maybe go for Mrs.Wilkinson, but not likely.

Maria in West Side Story. I know white girls have played her before, but I would never accept the role because I'm not Latina, and I could never pass for one either. And to the soprano that wants to be in Spring Awakening, don't give up hope. I'm a soprano and that's not going to stop me from auditioning for SA someday.

There are a few roles I would love to play that are sadly the opposite sex re: What show would you love to do, but will never be able to?

Also, I would love to play Sweeney Todd, but I just can't really see that happening. I am not really the type of actor that would get cast as Sweeney, but you never know!

I'd luv to be Seaweed in Hairspray but I'm a baritenor and can't hit a lot of the higher notes so unless they're willing to re-do some of the arrangements for no-name me, i'm probably out of luck. And although it's not impossible for this to happen I'd kill to understudy Benny in In The Heights and I'd LOVE to understudy Bert in Mary Poppins despite being the wrong shade. I already know the show by heart so it'd be a breeze for the director/dance captain/etc. no? o well...

It's a toss up between getting to sing "Fifty Percent" at the end of Ballroom or getting to sing "I Will Never Leave You" at the end of Side Show.

I'd die to play Cunegonde in Candide, sadly, I'm no soprano.
Also, Kathy, in L5Y, however, I'm quite the opposite of a "Shiksa Goddess."
