Does anyone seem to think that it was a much bigger deal last year than it is this year?

Last year all of the websites had videos and interviews from the TONY AWARDS Nominees brunch... they had multiple interviews with all of the nominees, a lot more articles, a lot of the nominees performed on Regis and Kelly...

this year, there was a lot of coverage the first few days...

there have been some interviews with a lot of the nominees, but it seems like there are other things that they have to do other than the TONYs..

was last year's coverage fruitless and it didn't really garner a lot of people that got into it so they just didn't do as much this year?

that's a really big mic...

Regis and Kelly aren't doing Broadway week this year?

They've done that for years.

Broadway.com has their usual Tony special this year. Lots and lots of clips.

It's been a really crappy year for the Broadway musical.

Great year for straight plays ("August," "Rock and Roll," "The Homecoming", et al.), but horrible year for musicals. "In the Heights" is a moronic POS, "Cry Baby" had terrific choreography but nothing else, "Passing Strange" was smart, but not really a musical, and "Xanadu" is fluff (great fluff, so I hope it wins).

why has broadway.com missed off Robin De Jesus from their nominated performances videos? He was defintely nominated right?
