Has anyone been to a preview? i've been reading some really positive reviews and wanted to see what you guys thought..

I think it looks great, the cast is pretty stellar; love Gina Gershon and I'm also a big fan of Mary McCormack from The West Wing.. She also seems to be everywhere lately.. Have yall been seeing the promos for her new show In Plain Sight on USA? I've seen a bunch lately and i think it looks great, good for Mary!

Hysterical, hysterical show. I was there last Friday night. Purposely went because I'm a HUGE Bradley Whitford fan, and while he is absolutely phenomenal, the three stewardesses steal the show. Katherine Hahn, Gina Gershon, and Mary McCormack (who steals the show the minute she walks on stage)...absolutely brilliant.

Search. Plenty o'threads to go around about the most delightful revival of a farce since Noises Off.

Just got 2 seats to opening night (surprised they're so easily available). This is going to be awesome!

Yeah it's around 2 hours and 40 minutes now. They didn't cut out any particular scenes, but they shortened some things. Everything flows better now and it certainly doesn't feel like 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The show is fantastic

It always takes a while for farce (especially a door-slamming farce like Boeing-Boeing) to really pick up speed. There's a certain rhythm they have to achieve - one door has to open two milliseconds before the other closes. And they had that solidly done the 2nd preview which I saw. I can only imagine what it's like now.

The problem with Boeing-Boeing is that it's overwritten. The show could easily be completed in 2 hours, but there's too much exposition. Much of the time, the dialogue goes around in circles.

I'd be happy to detail what could be cut, but I don't want to give away spoilers.

I am thinking of seeing it on a Sunday (starting next week- they will only have 1 show) so the all cast will go out after the show at the stage door.. I want to meet Christine Baranski! Its just! it starts at 3 pm and it will be done by 5:40... a little late for me! but I cant do any more Saturday matinees.

I enjoyed it but was a bit underwhelmed. McCormack is fantastic and there are a few solid laughs but mostly, I think my expectations were a bit too high. For the $55 I payed for it, it was worth it though.

Fantastic show. The gorilla thing was worth the price alone. Mary McCormack completely stole the show, along with Baranski's bit at the peep hole.

I hate to be the first person to ask this, but one of my friends is begging me to get a signed playbill for her by (she's a big West Wing fan), so how is the stage door? Crowded and hectic or not so bad?

It's a play. Plays are never as bad as musicals. They're all very nice and happy to sign memoriabilia.

I enjoyed the show a lot, too. Saw it last Sunday. Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Baranski is worth seeing in this role.

I went last Friday and everyone came out. All were very nice. Gina Gershon took nearly an hour to come out because she was doing a photo shoot, but could not have been nicer. For those interested, they signed anything. Gershon signed photos for the creepy e-bay people and Whitford signed a piece "West Wing" memorabilia that looked like a book or a dvd insert, I couldn't tell.

Also, for anyone interested there was an extensive article on Mark Rylance in the May 4th issue of New Yorker magazine. I tried to find it online, but the site kept crashing my web browser so I gave up. It goes into great detail about his time at The Globe.
