Hi,

I am arriving in New York on May 20 and was wondering if there was going to be a cast change for 'Young Frankenstein' before then? Is it still the original cast at the moment (sorry a bit out of the loop).

Thanks:)

Um... YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is already on its 2nd set of cast changes. Where have YOU been?

Megan Mullally, Sutton Foster, Andrea Martin, Christopher Fitzgerald, Shuler Helnsley and Roger Bart were the first group to leave the show. I believe most of the ensemble cast is still the original cast.

The original cast will still be in the show then.

What are you talking about Brody???? All of those people you mentioned are still in the show. Why do you write a snotty response when you yourself have no idea what you're talking about?

You're absolutely right -- I have NO idea what I'm talking about.

Just nonsense. From BrodyFosse123. The nerve!

Thank you 'wickedrocks' and 'jakethesnake'!

As to 'where have you been' not everyone on this site lives in America or spends all their time on it. I have been in the process of moving back to Australia from London and have had other priorities - not that I should have to justify - I should be able to post any question about shows I would like to have an answer to without people being rude!

Thank you to the others.

There was talk on the board about Megan Mullally only being in the show until March because of a previous engagement. Obviously that didn't occur. Was that just a rumor or was that just pushed back to a later date?

Please, DO read Brody's signature. Probably the one comment I can say no one can argue to me about that I have written since '05 when I joined the board.
His response to the OP is just another example of his Dickhead-ness.

And bohemianqueen, the original cast is intact. I believe Foster is the only one confirmed to be leaving in July.

"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

Do we know when in July Foster is supposed to leave?

On the same note---

I've booked to see the show at the end of July/start of August, not sure about the date, sometime during that week...

Will the original cast still be in then? Or if not who is leaving? I hope Roger, Andrea and Christopher esp. are still in it.

Thanks.

S.

Originally, the 7 leads all had year long contracts so that means October/November... Now, obviously, Sutton is leaving some time in July... The rest of the cast should still be there unless something happens...Each principle got a week off in April so in MAy they should be great! (Saw it again Friday, and still amazing...., even if Shuler-less)
