CABARET CARES SETS NEW RECORD FOR MONEY RAISED

Hey Everyone

Oh what a night, last nights Cabaret Cares Cares Gala promised to be the best yet. And it delivered in everyway,the evening started with a cocktail hour where performers and guests got to mingle and meet. Then at 7:30 the dinner was served,if you are looking for a delicicous meal check out the food at the West Bank Cafe. At 8:15 Leon Hall and producer Joseph Macchia took to the stage to start the live auction.The items ranged from Broadway Cares merchandise to VIP tickets to Seven on Sixth.

Then at 8:30 the show began with Peter Mac of Judy Me welcoming the guests as Little Edie Beales which brought the house down.
Frank Decaro was then introduced as the host of the evening this man is so so funny.

The evening just got better when the Broadway Boys performed Lullaby of broadway and then an amazing arrangement of Defying Gravity.

Where do you go from there but up When Hannah Waddingham of Spamalot sang Cheek to Cheek this lady knows how to sing,followed by the very funny and talented Heather Parcells.

The evening just got better and better. In 2005 Cabaret Cares raised over $9000.00. This year producer Joseph Macchia was thrilled to announce to the audience that Cabaret Cares raised over $17,000.

Everyone in the audience said it was one of the best events they had ever attended. And could not wait for the series to return in August./
