Just wanted to let you all know that The Little Mermaid is now offering same day student rush tickets.
It's a normal student rush policy, they go on sale when the box office opens and will remain on sale until curtain or until the student rush tickets have been sold out. They are NOT guaranteed and are completely at the disgression of the Box Office staff on a performance by performance basis. They are $26.50. I was told Tuesday-Thursday nights have the best chances of the rush seats being available. I'm not sure if it is one or two per ID.

I have wanted to revisit this show ever since I first saw it. Mainly to figure out if I liked it or not because when I saw it the first time I wasn't sure.
That being said, I felt really bad about shelling out 80 bucks to see this show. I take comfort in knowing that if I do want to see this show again I don't have to ruin my wallet.
One question. Do you think that there are going to be people who wait in line for these like there were for Tarzan. Or was Tarzan's student rush different because they sold them two hours to showtime.

Last week I went to the box office to see if SRO was still available, and it was...the box office had been opened for a while, also. As a side note, though, if I remember correctly, this was on a weekday.

I knew if I just waited I wouldn't have had to stand up for that entire mishmash of Disney, high belting, and questionable set design. But I just had to see it in January.
Good news though for those interested in checking out the show who don't have $120.
Great news as I have family coming who want to see it. Does anyone have more information about how early people line up and the chances of there being student rush on a Friday? Is there only student rush if the show is not sold out? Thanks so much.
Considering that it is Mermaid and not something like Blond. I doubt that there will be people lining up or camping out for it.
I asked the guy at the box office he said that it is tuesday through thursday and that its the standard 26.50.
As for the seat location. It will vary depending on what they have available for that particular performance.
