i just saw the commercial for it..they have the original ANNIE on DVD now remastered with games and "3 hours of extra fun"...im sorry but, I have to get this lol.

Oh Sueleen...

Yes...it's the most over-produced movie I have ever seen...and it's that reason that I love this movie more than I should!! I mean...orphans hanging and spinning wildly from the fire escapes?? Miss Hannigan returning in the end and an ELEPHANT??? GENIUS!!!

Yes...this movie is a misfire...but I wouldn't trade Carol Burnett for the world! And I perosnally liked Anne "We Got Annie" Reinking!

A funny bit of trivia regarding the film is that near the end of filming a disgruntled production member walked off with several reels of the finale, they had to go back and make hasty reshoots causing some of the cute lil' Orphans to be shot from different angles because they had grown in the few months after filming was completed. "Mom, why does the second Orphan have C cups?"

Does anyone remember Aileen Quinn in Dsiney's musical version of The Frog Prince??? I used to love that when I was a kid.
