For to be hopeless would seem so strange.

Ah, criticizing women's bodies is such sport! Tally-ho!
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
I usually don't like commenting on this kind of stuff, but I have to agree. That's bad.
Taz, that's Ty Murray. He's a pro bullrider and her boyfriend or husband, I'm not sure which.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson
bb, we're not criticizing her body, we're criticizing what she's clearly put in her body. badly.

No, the worst boob jobs are the ones that wort of wrinkle and pucker on the sides. That is one of the nastiest sights I've had the misfortune to witness.

Jewel HAS NOT had a boob job. Which is why people feel her breasts are less than spectacular. She's wearing a bad dress that doesn't showcase the girls properly.
Give her a break. How could someone as crunchy granola as Jewel be so vain as to get a boob job and leave her horrible fangs untouched. If Jewel was vain enough to get boobs, she would have fixed her teeth first.

Not that I care one way or the other, but wasn't crunchy granola Jewel the one who sold out with that Intuition razor song? I would have thought that would have gone against the belief system you're imposing on her more than getting breast implants does.
bad boob job. she's had one. and she sucks anyway.

i hope that was just the dress, if not i'd sue the surgeon.

It's the dress. I have watched enough Project Runway to know that it is an ill-fitting top to the dress.
As a Jewel fan, I really don't like when people criticize the Intuition album. The song-writing is as solid as ever, she just changed up the genre, as many musicians do. It was tongue-in-cheek. She has a sense of humor. As far as selling it to the razor company, let's not be foolish-artists have to eat. Endorsements are a nice way to be free to work on what you really want to do. Cyndi Lauper sold True Colors to Kodak.
Jewel has also lost a fair amount of weight, which may account for changes in size of certain areas.

I hope it's the dress, even though it doesn't look like it. I used to be a big fan of her first album. I think she would've honestly chosen to fix her teeth first. Otherwise, she's looking great.
i met her during a meet and greet at a show she did with Rob Thomas. We got to listen to the soundcheck and then get a group photo with her.
she seemed almost petrified of meeting fans. she stood in front of the group (where rob was right in there with the group) with her hands at her side and barely said hello or smiled. she looked as if a strong wind came through it might blow her over.

When I saw Jewel in concert last year she told the audience that she is very nervous with fans. I guess she's had a few stalkers, and one of them slipped into a meet and greet. She noted that, mixed with her intense introversion, makes her weird to be around strangers. She even apologized to some people in the audience who met her (they won a contest). She asked them, "was I weird?" and they laughingly responded "yes you there." The audience laughed and she owned her neurosis.
The whole conpect of meeting fans/strangers must be daunting and potentially awkward/odd.

Or just stayed natural. We are all beautiful, kids. In our own special way.
I cn't see thepics either--down with the school server!--but I didn't know that Jewel was even a big enough artist anymore for anyone to want to look at her boobs.
"I can't figure out what kind of life this is, comedy or tragedy, I just know it's showbiz. And what if I don't agree with the lines I have to read? They don't pay me enough, the way I see it."
I still stand by what I said. If you're going to refer to her as crunchy granola and say that's a reason why certainly wouldn't get breast implants, I don't see how my questioning why her razor tie-in song wouldn't conflict with her hippie ethics but breaset implants would.
