Anyone really good with computers?#1

I'm having issues with a file named webhelper.dll. I've searched the internet and general consensus indicates it to be a virus or spyware of some sort. Adaware didn't remove it. Mcafee doesn't find it or remove it. But I can find it simply by searching for it. Everything is up to date. I'm running windows XP on an HP. Any thoughts on how to completely remove it?

Download 'Spybot Search & Destroy'.
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

NOD32 is a great anti-virus program, and it's free. Also, try going into the registry and removing it there (unless you don't feel that you could do so without harming your computer.)
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

Thanks for all the advice. I finally fixed the problem by opening the Tools menu on Internet Explorer, then clicked on Manage Add-ons and disabled hpWebHelper.
