I was just watching a Rachel Ray show and she talked about this place and it looks great. Have any of you eaten here? How corwded does it get?

On their site it says they do pre theatre dinners and that sounds awesome because its close the district and affordable.

Any reviews would be very helpful.

It's pretty good, but it is always jam-packed and LOUD. Some times the wait for a table can be nearly an hour. The same owners have another restaurant, WHYM, on 9th and 58th. Just as good and it is never as crowded, at least not when I've been there.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Link to their website?

I just go to the Edison Cafe pre-dinner. It's across the street from two different theatres.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

The food is good and the service is always pleasant, but it can be loud and overcrowded. However, I love to go in the summer and sit at the outside tables. Their macaroni and cheese is to die for.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

It is more known for its sunday brunch then for its dinners, although dinner there is quite good. Also, it has great drinks. The wait time for sunday brunch can be huge, whereas dinner is usually a shorter wait.

Definitely highly recommend it. It is a staple amound my friends and I.

I was way underwhelmed with their brunch, but I very much enjoy going there for after show drinks and appetizers. Yes, it is very loud, but they have some interesting things on the menu, and their martinis are great. Try not to sit at a table in the middle - the perimeter is best for drink non-spillage and people-watching!
