Well, Gavin gave his final performance as Bert this evening in the West End production of Mary Poppins. It was a very sad event, with both him and Scarlett Strallen crying in their final scene together. He is such a great performer - I wish him all the very best for the broadway run. He really was the heart and soul of the production over here, and I'm sure he will be in New York too.

I'm going to Gavin Creel's first performance, tomorrow!!!

I find it interesting how he left midweek...

I definately can not wait to see him later this season, though. Please tell us how Creel is!

I can't wait to hear what you think of Creel. I am sure he'll be fabulous!

I saw him a few weeks ago in the show. He was amazing. I pray to God he gets nominated for a Tony here in America. Fingers crossed.

I wish i could have been there to see his last show, he will be missed for sure but no doubt he will continue to distribute his magic to Broadway audiences. I was crying at the end of the show anyway when i saw it - it was so moving, so i dread to think what i would have been like if i'd gone to his last performance!! Gavin needs to win an award though, i can't believe he didn't win it over here even though a nomination is a pretty good achievement if you ask me! When is the Broadway production due to open by the way? Oh and 'Practically Perfect', what did you think of Gavin Creel?
