I'm sorry if this is a silly topic, but I was watching Rent (the movie) and during La Vie Boheme, I couldn't help but notice an involuntary smile emerging from my face when I saw Adam Pascal dance. Then I remembered seeing him dance in the OBC cast and then again during one of his concerts where he performed Under Pressure... the boy... no matter how hard he tries cannot dance. But in a "you still good in those tight pants" way.
To recollect myself, I'll mention Roger Bart, who always does a cute little dance during the Charlie Brown musical.
Now is Adam alone in this or are there others? Who have you witnessed? This can also include moments where actors spontaneously does a little step for fun or something small, like Gregory Jbarra's hip-shake during "The More We Dance."
"I haven't got a pail."
"Find your grail, your GRAIL!"
"But it's not missing. It's right on the counter where it's supposed to- defying gravity, my giant cup's gone!"
"Five hundred, twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes. How do you measure... measure a year?"
"How many times do I have to tell you, it's five hundred twenty-five thousand, five hundred and eighty-five point thirty-two minutes. You will never graduate if you keep basing your math on showtunes."
"You ruin Broadway for me."
"As well I should."
Fantabulous, you're so right! The hand creeping up between his legs is priceless! It's because those pants are too tight, I'm telling you.

I saw Plum being the last poster, and for some reason I imagined she was going to say something along the lines of, "Well, I don't know... but Hugh Jackman CAN dance."
And Em - I guess Adam should have tried that method for the high note in the Enchantment Passing Through... Updated On: 3/7/06 at 02:28 AM
Hahaha, when I saw this thread title I thought it was a very good possibility that watching Adam "dance" in La Vie Boheme inspired this thread.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
wasn't there supposed to be a nude scene though? Doesn't sound G-Rated to me.
David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail

I think they cut that out after Disney became involved (and Adam said he wouldn't do it anyway). Still, though, there's some sexual innuendo in the show. Granted, that would likely go over children's heads easier than some guy walking around naked on stage. Updated On: 3/7/06 at 09:29 AM
I love Will Chase, but I agree, he's not the best dancer out there.

The choosing was not...

As much as I admire her as an actress and singer, Joanna Gleason isn't a great dancer - it's quite apparent in DRS during her dancing scenes with Andre.
