Adding songs?#0

What shows have added a new song after their opening? I heard on Seth Rudetsky's radio show that Dreamgirls added a song about a year into it's run.
I did a search didn't find anything.
Thanks

Tim Rice and Alan Menken wrote "A Change In Me" for Toni Braxton during her run in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Also, Stephen Schwartz re-wrote "Wonderful" from WICKED for George Hearn.

The "Wonderful" change was mostly at the end, since George wasn't capable of the dance sequence.

Oh yeah, that. But not the song itself.

Did he go:
"When you are wonderful
It would be wonderful
When you're the wonderful... ONE!!!!"

Because that's what it is in the sheet music.

Two songs were added for Ethel Merman when she did "Hello Dolly" late in its run.

The revival of "Cabaret" has a few songs that weren't in the original (ie "Money Makes the World Go Around," "Mein Heir," "Maybe This Time")

The Waltz in "Nine" was changed to a tango for the revival with Antonio Bandaras and Chita Rivera and then back to a tango when Chita was replaced by Eartha Kitt.

"Hippie Life" was added for the Actor's Fund of America Benifit of "Hair" last year.

I could go on and on...there are tons more.

I guess we should distinguish between:

(a) a show adding a song for a new production (revival, tour, etc.)
and
(b) a show adding a song during its original Broadway (or off-Broadway) run.

If we wanted to add (c), a show adding songs during out-of-town previews, we'd be here until about July of 2008 listing them all.
