The Color Purple is casting a TV commercial and we want you!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INTERESTING, energetic people of all ages to talk to us about the experience of seeing the musical The Color Purple. No acting experience required! Casting will be the week of Feb 20th.

You MUST be available on March 4th and 5th IN NYC. You must also provide your own transportation to NY if you are chosen to audition and selected for this commercial. Please email your answers to the questions below and supply a photo (jpeg). You will not be considered without a photo submission.

1) How has the show affected or changed your life?

2) Who did you see the show with and why that person or group of people? Would they be willing to talk to us too?

3) What did you like about the show? What emotions did you feel? What was your favorite moment? 2nd favorite moment?

4) What character did you relate to and why? How does the show relate to your life?

5) How many musicals have you seen?

6) Describe the audience reaction the night you saw the show.

They're going to want to balance age, race, gender, etc. so it comes across as a musical accessible to everyone.
