There's always a principal Christine, and an alternate Christine. In the Phantom rights, there is a clause that states no 1 actress can play Christine more than 6 times per week, so her alternate has a schedule of 2 shows per week plus any filling in for sick principals.
The rest fo the double casting will probably be based on what kidn of performance schedule they go for. If it's norrmal, then I'd say no. If they're going for an Ave Q schedule, then definately.
I dont know, cuz when Dale Kristien was Christine I was like 5. If so, she probably had to get ALW's permission and prove to him that she could do it healthfully.
Yes, Dale Kristen is the only actress to have played the role of Christine without an alternate with permission by the producers. She played the role straight through the week for years! I got to see her many times in the LA production and she was simply incredible! She acted along side various phantoms: Michael Crawford, Robert Guillaume and Davis Gaines.

Since the rights haven't been released, how would you know?
I'll be in Vegas in October this year and am just trying to plan some stuff.
What about Q?
"...But Kungurtseva reels off multiple fouettes and the tape is stopped so she can take a bow. The Jester, an abomination introduced to Swan Lake in Soviet times, extorts applause from the audience. The cuts don't help the storytelling, the production is bare bones and they go for the '50s-style happy ending.
The audience cheers like mad at the end. It's the Russian ballet, after all..."
Watch the Phantom be somebody out of the blue.....like Michael Crawford or Anthony Warlow....both who I would love see do the role in Vegas...I'm thinking the role will be played by a name..so I wouldn't really be suprised if it was Michael Crawford...plus I'll be in Vegas when it opens and I hope is him anyway.
HAHAHHAHAHA.......thats hilarious. Really though he could still play Phantom, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was The Phantom. He had played Las Vegas before EFX..which I saw him in.
