tie:

Idina- Defying Gravity is just too amazing for words and her Wizard and I was great. Just a powerhouse. Im Not That Girl was heartbreaking.

Shoshana- freaking awesome. Wizard and I had me in tears, and Im Not That Girl was so good. Defying Gravity was great as well.

Her voice is beautiful.
She is a humble genius.

Shoshana Bean

i've seen only her and Idina and i loved both, but i liked Shoshana's approach better. i liked the seriousness she gave at the very beginning. her renditions of Wizard and I and of course Defying Gravity are very powerful. i also love her ghetto "bring it on b*tch!" after she slaps Glinda in Act 2. she definitely deserves the nickname Elphathug re: Who's Your Favorite Elphaba?

Jenna brought an innocence to the role and Shoshana brought her pipes.

Stephanie Block. She cleverly combines the vulnerbale aspect of the character with the fiestyness. Plus, she's got a great voice.

Hands down, Idina beats Shoshana in every song but No Good Deed. Shoshana just doesn't have the raw power that Idina did for songs like Wizard and I and Defying Gravity, no matter how much the fangirls/fanboys want to pretend she does.

Idina is amazing.

I've seen both Idina and Shoshana and i thought both were outstanding. however, Idina brought the house down and will always be the best.

Either Kristy Cates or Stephanie J. Block.

Both have BEAUTIFUL voices and they don't sound like they're screaming their notes. They aren't nasily and they're very well trained. They never have off nights and they're incredibly enthusiastic about the show!

Stephanie J. Block. Her voice, her acting... is just amazing.

Ana Gastayer comes in a close second though.

Stephanie J. Block

Hands down best one I've seen so far, singing and acting. Her voice is so strong, pure and she transforms it to fit the song. I swear to god if I had my eyes closed, she sounds exactly like margaret hamilton.
"One day, is that enough for you, one day he went dumb, one day I went blind, one day we'll go deaf, one day we were born, one day we shall die, the same day, the same second, is that enough for you? They give birth astride of a grave, the light gleams an instant, then it's night once more." --Waiting for Godot

I am a big Idina fan, never saw her in Wicked, only clips and maybe some things we do not mention, and just from those she is my favorite over those I actually saw, Stephanie J. Block and Shoshana. She just has the right attitude!!! She's incredibly talented and absolutely beautiful!

Elphaba3, you gave that exact same reason for Chenoweth.

Give us a reason for WHY she is the best. What makes her better?

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying you should have reasons other than that they were in the OBC.
