Hi,

I've been recently cast in a small production that will involve a lot of jazz and swing dancing. I'd rather not go into specifics about the production. Anyway, my old pair of character shoes that I would normally use are about to bite the dust. So I am looking for a replacement (male) pair that would look okay in what will probably be a black suit. If anyone has any recommendations on a brand or even a type of shoe that might work/look better than a typical male oxford, I'd appreciate it especially since I'm mainly a singer.

Thanks!

check out www.discountdance.com

These are pretty much the only male character shoes they have, but they look pretty nice and I imagine they are good shoes, Capezio is definitely a reliable brand.

Hope this helps!

EDIT: ahh just read you didn't want an oxford...sorry!!!
