Hey all! I am wondering what went on with the whole Serge as Link situation on the Hairspray tour. I have heard some bad things, then saw it and he was in fact not so good as Link. Why did he not sign on for another year for the tour? was he asked to leave? If anyone knows the real scoop give a shout out. I hear so many people talking about the Serge situation!

right..i know he is on bway now...but im wondering why they didn't choose him to replace richard

Posted: 1/1/06 at 11:06pmI think Andrew Rannels was Richard's understudy and Bryan West was the stand-by (or vice versa) and that Serge was still with the tour at that time. He came back as Fender around the same time Andrew started as Link.

Posted: 1/2/06 at 2:17amSerge is also great as the tailor at the Hefty Hideaway. The last time I saw the show, he was flirting with Bryan West as the hot dog vendor during "Welcome to the 60s". Hilarious!
