Falsettoland. While I loved the show, I was thinking "so this is a Broadway show?" It seemed so small for Broadway. And then I went to see Man of LaMancha the next day with Sheena Easton and I was again thinking "this is a Broadway show?"

The Music Man when Eric McCormack was in it. Why God Why did I choose this?? I liked him alright, but I LOATHE that show. And I knew I loathed it when I bought the tickets! As Anthony Newley once said, "What kind of fool am I?" My second, on the same days as the above mentioned show, was Follies, which, in apparantly my opinion alone, was astounding. I try to convince myself that Follies was my first B'way show and that The Music Man was just a bad dream.

Don't take offense eandan but this question is the subject of another thread. A long one at that. Have you tried the feature that allows one to search for topics? You might find that easier. Then you can just post your own response.

Your postings seem to freqently be open-ended questions looking for lists. Or am I confusing you with others?

FALSETTOS is the title of the Broadway production which was comprised of the two off-Broadway shows, MARCH OF THE FALSETTOS and FALSETTOLAND.

Opened on B'way, 4/29/1992.

The first national tour of Footloose in Cleveland. It was actually the first stop of the tour. I have yet to make it to NYC, but someday I will call it home and let you know when I see my first BROADWAY show. re: re: re: Your first Broadway Show

I listened to Phantom when it first came out and it just did not appeal to me. And now I feel that seeing it here in NYC I would be seeing a really old tired cast. Much like when I saw Les Mis on B'way for the first time. I had seen it on tour and loved it and several years later when my friend was playing Fantine I went to see it and the cast was so tired and bored looking. I swore off old long-running shows forever.

It's hard to believe that BATB has been open that long. I really do not enjoy ALW very much. There are some songs I like, but I will probably never see Phantom.
