I mean, Christine just goes on with her life and meets the Phantom (Erik) when she gets involved with the Opera House. Then some months/years/or whatever later Raoul pops back to the face of the Earth and claims Christine...F.Y.I, Raoul, Christine already got over you! What right does he have to do that?

Well, it's hard to ignore the fact that the Phantom is a cold-blooded murderer stalking someone young enough to be his daughter.
Personally, I'd choose to live like a queen with the good-looking aristocrat rather than spend the rest of my days like a sewer rat in the bowels of an opera house. I don't think those burnt wax fumes would be very good for my soprano voice.

Oh my GOD, ERIK.
In the movie, when he does that thing where he like takes off his cape...i just want to run onto the screen and smell it or something. That beautiful, beautiful man.
