Is there a site that gives walking directions to sites in Manhattan? I'm trying to map out how to get to certain theatres on foot, but the only site I found was mapquest and it's obstensibly for drivers.

Mapquest also keeps telling me that Broadway turns into 7th Avenue S. Where does it turn into 7th Avenue S?

In NYC the streets are numerical. You should have no difficulty findung a theater if you can count.

I can count on my good days, but I have no sense of direction so being told to go south or north does nothing for me. I need directions that go by streets. As long as I'm looking for the theatres on Broadway, I'm fine. It's when I have to find a theatre on Minetta Lane or East 15th Street that I run into a problem. I'm not that familiar with the street system yet. If I lived there, it would be different although my friends who live in New York never seem to know where anything is.

Call the theater and ask for specific directions.
