I saw the ACTUAL producion of this when it was produced at TUTS. I think it's safe to say that, NO, it did not work...

I'd see anything with Bernadette Peters...even if it doesn't work.

I believe it was in Chicago first. Then TUTS in Houston. The Marriott Lincolnshire and TUTS share a lot of productions.

I was in the World Premiere of the show in Houston. Before that it was only performed in a workshop setting and a concert setting in London. I am not aware if it has been performed in London since. It has not played anywhere else in the U.S.

The show does need more time in the oven. However, there are many (I can not say who) who think the show can work with revision.

Honestly, when we were in the rehearsal hall, we thought we had a stunning show on our hands. Unfortunately, that show didn't quite end up on the stage. Otherwise, I might have been in it on Broadway! re: Baby Jane -- A New Musical
