List the Broadway stars you have met whether you took a quick picture/asked for autograph or carried on a short conversation with:

Chris Sieber - pic/autograph
Harriet Harris - pic/autograph
Susan Egan - pic outside stage door on a random day
Anne Nathan - autograph
Cheyenne Jackson - autograph
Francis Jue - he took the picture at the Millie fund-raiser for BC/EFA

I also saw from a short distance Gavin Creel outside the stage door and Christy Romano at Bryant Park, but didn't talk to them.

Met Bernadette Peters in her dressing room in May after a performance of Gypsy. Had a nice conversation, I think about dogs, though I've never been more nervous in my life, so I really cannot remember WHAT on earth we talked about. She is an incredibly nice and down to earth person! Oh, and Tom Wopat was visiting her that day as well.

John Tartaglia, Jennifer Barnhart, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Jordan Gelber and Rick Lyon - photos/autographs/pretty long conversations
Cheyenne Jackson - autograph/talked for a little bit. I was pretty shy.
Susan Egan - autograph/quick compliments
Raul Esparza - photo/autograph/conversation
Patrick Wilson - photo/autograph/he tried to talk to me, but I was incapable of responding.
Adam Pascal - too long a story to tell.
Michael Cavanaugh - photo/autograph/short conversation
Jeffrey Carlson - autograph/short conversation

Donna Murphy-pic/autograph/good conversation
Nancy Anderson-some quick compliments
My parents had a long discussion and got an autograph from Brian Stokes Mitchell after Man of LaMancha, as well as an autograph from Mary Elizabeth Mastriantonio (sp?).
And I saw David Hasselhoff come out of J & H from a restaurant across the street.

I've only waited at one stage door becuase the first time I went to the city I was clueless, the second time was a choir trip, and then this time there was only one show I was willing to wait at!

too tired to write all ofthem out but here are some:

lindsay duncan - short conversation (about shoes)

cast of ave q briefly but longer with Stephanie D'Abruzzo and Jennifer Barnhart.

sutton foster - short conversation (when i first met her) and have spoken with her longer since then.

sherie rene scott - short conversation (at a rehearsal) then longer when i saw her again a few months later

kate burton - pretty long conversation, she noticed i was reading "the royal family" and she liked it as well so we talked about different plays and such.

christine ebersole - pretty long conversation at Feinsteins when she did her show a few months ago. i didn't want to bother her so i asked just wrote a short note saying how i liked the show (i had seen it once before) and asked the manager to give it to her as we walked in. at the end of the show the manager said that he had given her the note and did i have a moment to meet her? so...that was great.

bernadette peters - short convo at the stage door of gypsy

rebecca luker - at a bc/efa thing, short but good conversation

I saw Adam Pascal walk by me and would have ran after him except I was waiting for Hugh Jackman to get to the Imperial so I didn't. (Don't get me started.) I did meet Hugh though, and give him a few presents inspired by his SNL performance that related to me asking him to take me down to "brown town." (Long story.)

I met Will Chase, Deborah Cox, Lisa Brescia and Mickey Dolenz after Aida.

I also met Idina and Kristin (which was awesome, but would have been cooler if some creepy oldish balding guy wasn't babbling to Kristin the entire time, then yell and chase after her town car, then come back and do the same to Idina.).

I guess my list is kind of scarce, but in my defense, I live on the other end of the continent! (My list of movie stars I've met is more impressive. re: Broadway Stars You Have Met )

Oh yeah, I met and interviewed the touring casts of:
- Miss Saigon (Jon Jon Briones, Jennifer Hubilla and Alan Gillespie)
- Jesus Christ Superstar (Eric Kunze and a friend of mine, Carl Anderson)

I had to go through my autographs to try to remember. The first to come to mind were Anne Reinking, Joe Bologna, Renee Taylor, Jerry Orbach, Bill Pullman, Mercedes Ruehl, Stephen Rowe, Jeffrey Carlson, Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Frank Langella, Lynn Redgrave, Daniel Davis, Frances Sternhagen, Craig Bierko, Rebecca Luker, Robert Sean Leonard, Len Cariou, Henry Winkler, Lea Solonga, Michael Crawford, Ron Rifkin, Brian Stokes Mitchell. Some were greetings and requests for autographs at stage doors and a couple were meetings at parties.

oops - almost forgot Alan Campbell, Natasha Richardson, Tyne Daly, and Hunter Foster. I'm sure others will keep coming to me!

Since I don't live in NY, I've only met a few broadway stars...

Cady Huffman- at the UCLA playhouse production of "Company". I got a picture, autograph, and paid her many compliments.

Christopher Sieber- at the UCLA playhouse production of "Company". He was leaving, so I just told him how amazing he was.

Jeff McCarthy- at the National tour of "Urinetown". I got a picture, autograph and paid compliments.

I'm so jealous of everyone who lives in NY!!!!
