Well now you can sing the songs to Wicked. Yay. It's avilable for pre-order on Amazon and is comeing out June 21. It's made by Pocket Songs, and if they did the same job they did on the Chicago Movie Karaoke, then it should really be worth the $22 something. The only song ommited from the CD is "No One Mourns The Wicked" and "Finale". I believe another company, Stage Stars, is coming out with a Wicked Karaoke also. Their Chicago karaoke sucked. "Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."
Or what you could do is invest in a Vocal ripper used to take the vocals out of studio tracks...that way you can sing along to the actual underscoring. I've done it to AIDA, Full Monty and Footloose.
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...
A vocal ripper can be found by downloading the YoGen Vocal Remover trial version and then doing a google search for a password to unlock the entire version (the downloadable trial version rips about 20 seconds of the track). but still you really have to tweak the track to get it the way you want. Still, it's worth it.

I had little luck using a vocal ripper on either Wicked, or some of Avenue Q. The lower vocals came out easily, but the higher voices were problematic.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"
Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
